Exibia Server. Exibia Server runs on Mac OS X. Capable of running on any G4, G5 or Intel Mac, Exibia Server schedules and displays QuickTime-compatible video clips to any connected display. Connect Exibia Server to a closed-circuit television system and let users schedule the videos they want to see when they want to see them. Exibia Server takes full advantage of the QuickTime media layer of Mac OS X. Any QuickTime-compatible media file (such as videos, mp3s, podcasts and videocasts can be scheduled for broadcast on an Exibia Server. With third-party plug-ins such as flip4mac, Perian and DivX, content such as DRM-Free Windows Media content can be scheduled for broadcast in addition to the traditional QuickTime-compatible content. |
